Today I'd like to start a blog as a type of journal about things I have learned or experienced as I've looked at the health and wellness industry, practices, and opportunities.
When I got married several years ago, my life was just like the normal person - I go to the doctor when things are wrong and I ate about what I wanted. I was not involved in most of the things that were happening around me and was only focused on living a normal life. Things quickly changed as my wife's family was doing homeschooling, they are very politically active, and my father in law has been working in the health and wellness industry for a long time. I was introduced to a great deal of new things.
Over the years my wife and I have learned a lot. We changed our diet as best we could. We now eat more raw veggies and fruits, we take quality supplements (more on that later), we grind our own wheat, and we try to avoid sugars and additives especially corn syrup and food coloring. That last one limits what we can buy at the store quite a bit, but I feel much better about our diet. We have three children all born at home with the help of a midwife (an awesome experience by the way).
We joined an excellent company several years ago called Trivita. They sell very high quality supplements and health products. We were able to buy some customers, which has pretty much paid us enough from the profits to get free supplements. After that, we pretty much stopped working with them; however, it was a very good experience and we got our feet wet with network marketing. However, one of the biggest takeaways from that endeavor was Michael Ellison's book 10 Keys To Wealth and Wellness. We learned that to be truly healthy, we should also seek out wealth, and to be truly wealthy, we need to seek wellness. We also learned that we can live in bountiful, where it is OK to seek for wealth. Money is not evil, it is a tool that empowers individuals to achieve great things and pursue their life purposes. Evil people will do more evil things, and good people will do more good things. I wanted the tool of money to allow me to do some of the good things I can only dream about now.
I have a very good job and get paid more than sufficient for my needs, however I would like more. I have looked at several opportunities in building a home based business. I looked into real estate investing with Nuevo Riche, network marketing in several different industries, making and selling my own products, internet marketing and SEO, and several other options. It excites me that there are so many choices. I kept coming back to network marketing even though I initially had reservations about it.
My neighbor has been doing network marketing successfully for many years and I wanted to know what he was involved in and have talked to him about it extensively. He was done with network marketing and then found the product, company, up-line, leadership, and compensation in a company that he could have only dreamed about before. He felt so obligated to share the product with people he came out of retirement and started working this new product. I was excited to learn about this company and asked him more. That was 8 months ago.
Enter ASEA. This product has quite a story behind it, much like any other story, except this one is a science based product. It is not a berry antioxidant drink, but it improves antioxidant production and efficiency in the body by 500% - yes, 5 x antioxidant efficiency. It does not provide minerals or supplements, but it does help the body to absorb and use what it already has. It promotes healing at the cellular level in a way that no other supplement has been able to do. Plus, it gives an amazing boost to endurance and recovery.
I thought, this is the opportunity that I want to pursue and enrolled. Life then happened: we had our third child, moved, and I got new responsibilities in my full time job. I also got bombarded by a bunch of other opportunities and got distracted. I am now just starting to work the business in earnest and am getting really excited about what it has in store for me.
Thanks for reading my lengthy monologue. I hope your day and future are bright and filled with hope.
